Crayons & Marketers hires Brooke Kelly, Marketing and PR Manager

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 7, 2025) – Nashville-based inclusive marketing company, Crayons & Marketers, has hired communications professional Brooke Kelly as marketing and PR manager. In her new role, Kelly will spearhead media relations and social media strategies for the company’s private, government and nonprofit clients.  

“Brooke is a skilled marketing and PR professional,” said Crayons & Marketers principal and chief marketing strategist Jacqueline Hayes. “She brings to C&M her knowledge, experience and alignment with our company’s core values, and we are happy to welcome her to our team.” 

Before joining Crayons & Marketers, Kelly spent 9 years at MP&F Strategic Communications, a full-service communications firm where she worked with clients across various industries, including tourism, government, construction and the nonprofit sector.  

A Nashville native raised in Jackson, Mississippi, Kelly is a graduate of Jackson State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in mass communications with an emphasis in multimedia journalism and a minor in art.  

Kelly is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, the Metropolitan Nashville Chapter of The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., and an associate member of the National Association of Black Journalists. She also currently serves as the president of the Nashville Chapter of the Jackson State University National Alumni Association.
